Swedish government website taken offline by wikileaks supporters
Technical savvy WikiLeaks supporters attacked multiple Swedish web sites this morning. This was an attempt to convince the Swedish prosecutor to drop the charges on WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange.
Julian Assange is accused of a sex crime because of an alleged broken condom. WikiLeaks supporters think these are bogus charges to validate an extradition back to the United States of America.
The United States government has made it no secret that they would like to question him regarding top secret government documents that were leaked on the internet.
The United Kingdom has agreed to extradite him back to Sweden but so far has failed to do so. Julian Assange was granted the right to Asylum by the Ecuadorian government.
The UK has refused to give him safe passage out of the country, so far he’s been enjoying his “freedom” stuck within the confines of the Ecuadorian embassy in London since he skipped bail.
