On Friday July 24th, the Montreal Police (SPVM) suppressed a peaceful protest in solidarity with the Unist’ot’en camp and the recent victims of police brutality, by kidnapping protesters.
Un regroupement d’environ 30 personnes, en solidarité avec Baltimore, ce sont réunis ce soir au carré Phillips et ont pris la rue après quelques discours prononcés et ce sont dirigés vers l’ambassade des États-Unis afin d’exprimer leur mécontentement à l’égard du profilage racial et de la violence par la police. A gathering of about 30, in solidarity with Baltimore, assembled tonight at Phillips Square and took to the streets following a few speeches then made their way towards the U.S embassy in order to voice their discontent with racial profiling and violence by police.
