A big fire down the street from me

Last week a building down the street from me burnt down, and I mean it totally burnt down.

I like checking out fires, my mom had a boyfriend that would chase down fire trucks when he would see one pass by. I tend to do the same now but without a car, I ain’t going to far.

I had to close the corner store when it happened, so I missed the beginning of it or I should say the (best of it).  Normand who also works at the store told us a washing machine flew out of the building and landed on a nearby parked car. He also sent me a picture that he took with his cell phone to my iPhone using SMS. Here are some of the picture I took using my iPhone once I got there my self, yes the iPhone camera sucks next to the one Normand has on his Samsung. I also had to bypass the road blocks using the back alleys, by the time I was done and ready it was midnight and the cops had road blocks everywhere. I’m not sure if anyone got hurt but I’ll assume so, I saw two ambulances speeding away.

More pictures of this fire can be found on my Picasa Web Album.
