Saturday the “#AntiSec” collective of Anonymous took credit for hacking the Montreal Police Brotherhood website. Anti-C51 protests were held on Saturday across Canada, 3 arrests now made notorious took place in Halifax.

The URL most has a message to say to the “/media/” since that URL structure is not used by the website and the mainstream media of course ignored this story.

Unlike the DDoS attack on the Canadian government websites, this attack was more complicated and puts in question the security of the server and network on which it sits. Anonymous did not deface the “home page”, they left bread crumbs. It’s a telltale sign that Anonymous rummaged inside the server.

By 2 o’clock Monday morning the hacked page had been removed and the website was back to it’s original state.
