Certain breeds of dogs (such as pitbulls and hybrids) are banned in Chateauguay according to law. Caught with such a dog, dog owners are faced with fines and these dogs are to be euthanized within 7 days if not removed from the City, yet many of these dogs are registered with tags thus Chateauguay is making money off of them.

We are attending the Town Hall Meeting at City Hall to present our petition against this barbaric law, as well as to hold a friendly rally outside of the building.
