Wednesday, July 15th
18h at Métro Mont-Royal
Montréal, QuébecJoin us for a demonstration to commemorate the one year after the Israeli bombardment of Gaza, a military attack that took the lives of more than 2,250 Palestinians- the great majority civilians- over the course of 51 days.
One year after these attacks, there has been a resounding silence from the Canadian political establishment, an illustration of the deep complicity of the Canadian political establishment across the spectrum, from the Conservatives, to the Liberals to the NDP. As Canadian military companies continue to make massive profits supplying deadly weapons to the Israeli military- including both drone technologies and military aircraft parts produced right here in Quebec- there is an open complicity within our society toward Israeli apartheid systems that needs to be called out.
On this one year anniversary, let us come together to protest Israeli apartheid, to denounce the complicity of Canada’s political and economic elites, and to express our support for the growing global boycott, divestment and sanctions (BDS) movement.
