About 150 students took to the streets of Montreal to denounce the political trials and expulsions that students are faced with at UQAM and Concordia. Students are faced with criminal, civil and administrative tribunals for their participation in the 2015 student strike movement.
On Friday July 24th, the Montreal Police (SPVM) suppressed a peaceful protest in solidarity with the Unist’ot’en camp and the recent victims of police brutality, by kidnapping protesters.
