Nomination de monsieur Fabrice Brunet au poste de président-directeur général du CHUM et du CHU Sainte-Justine
Dans la foulée de l’annonce du regroupement du Centre hospitalier de l’Université de Montréal (CHUM) et du Centre hospitalier universitaire Sainte-Justine (CHU Sainte-Justine) sous un conseil d’administration unique, le ministre de la Santé et des Services sociaux, monsieur Gaétan Barrette, a annoncé aujourd’hui la nomination de monsieur Fabrice Brunet en tant que nouveau président-directeur général des deux établissements ainsi regroupés.
« Monsieur Brunet possède toutes les compétences et l’expérience requises pour exercer cette responsabilité de haut niveau, d’autant plus qu’il l’assumait déjà au CHU Sainte-Justine. Il s’agit en effet pour lui que de l’élargissement de ses fonctions actuelles, et je suis convaincu que ses talents de rassembleur et de visionnaire sauront rallier l’ensemble des membres du personnel autour de notre grande priorité commune que sont les patients », a déclaré le ministre Barrette.
Rappelons en effet que monsieur Brunet, qui cumule une trentaine d’années d’expérience dans le domaine de la santé et des services sociaux, est à la tête du CHU Sainte-Justine depuis 2009, et le dirige à titre de président-directeur général depuis la réorganisation du réseau en mars dernier.
