This video was never finished, it's also in French, a rarity for me but it's intended audience is the French rescue community, so the rough cut will have to do for now. I've delayed releasing this information since January of 2015, so here it goes. I may or may not finish this video due to time and budget restraints and the need to travel out of town to gather more intel.

Montreal protest against racial profiling by police

Montreal protest against racial profiling by police, in memory of Michael Brown & all the others. About 300 protesters gathered in Montreal against racial profiling and took to the streets holding their hands up in the air yelling don't shoot causing multiple traffic disturbances. The Montreal Police did not declared this protest illegal.

Million Mask March – Montreal, November 5th, 2014

Montreal - Quebec shows anonymous support for this November 5th, 2014. About 80 activists met up at Victoria Square and walked down the streets of Montreal to protest in front of multiple establishments. Despite the march being illegal there were no arrests and activists caused little to no disturbance to motorists. The Montreal police followed the peaceful protesters at a distance.

Civil rights for animals – Montreal protest – Animals are not objects (11/10/2014)

Like most people, we believe that animals are not toasters. This view, however, is not shared by our Civil Code. From a legal standpoint, a dog or a cow is no different than a toaster or a chair: all are considered moveable property. Quebec law thus assimilates the act of hurting or abusing an animal to the destruction of property. Not only is this concept morally questionable, but it also clashes with how the majority of Quebec citizens think.

Explosion in Rosemont apartment – 28/09/2014

Propane explosion in Rosemont apartment. 5 injured, a 63 old men is still in critical condition, a firefighter had minor injuries, police cordoned off several streets. Spokeswoman Lynn Ducan said the investigation was transferred to the police arson squad to determine what went wrong. The initial case would be a propane tank explosion causing a fire that was quickly controlled by the firefighters.
